The article describes preliminary results of development of pedagogical system for analytical skills formation at students – future computer security specialists. The results of the research revealed the contradictions, which require changes in professional education content and search of effective means of improvement of Computer Security specialists professional traning. On the basis of system approach elements of system for analytical skills formation have been developed. The definition and the significance of analytical skills for frofessional activity of computer security specialists are given in the article. Different types of reading in a foreign language is regarded as a means of analytical skills formation. It has been revealed that stages of text processing and stages of analytical skills formation are mutually determined. It can be concluded that developed analytical skills contribute efficient professional activity and determines readiness for professional activity.
