Management of the Procedural (Technological) Component of the Engineer's Training System

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the problem of quality management of education at a technical university on the basis of criteria-based assessment and monitoring of a student’s professional development using digital resources. The mechanism of education quality management includes monitoring and evaluation of students’ professional development, analysis of the educational situation and decision-making on adjusting the content and methods of forming the readiness of future specialists for engineering activities. This work is a continuation of the author’s research on education quality management. The purpose of this article is to consider the impact of university policies in the main areas of activity on the procedural (technological) component of the engineer training system and to propose a set of measures aimed at improving the quality of education. The methodology of the study consisted of: a systematic approach, an activity-based approach, a personality-oriented approach, a competence-based approach, and a cybernetic approach. In conclusion, on the basis of the reviewed university policies on the main areas of activity for the procedural (technological) component of the engineer training system, complexes of measures aimed at improving the quality of education are proposed.
