The paper aims to analyze the procedure of reflection on philosophical and scientific concepts of socialization. The hypothesis is that such procedure contains combination of operations independent from the type of reflection researcher intends to fulfill. It is shown that the specificity of the philosophical and scientific concepts of socialization affects the reflection on these concepts impelling the researcher to solve methodological problems which are not always evident. The mentioned problems are revealed in the article and divided into three blocks, namely, instrumental methodological problems, methodological problems of interpretation and problems of using results of studying socialization.
