Analysis of the Social Demand for the Formation of communicative Competencies in Future Speech therapy Teachers

Abstract: 
An independent assessment of the quality of professional training is now recognized as an urgent problem of vocational education. The issue of independent assessment of the competencies of future teachers, including through the certification system, has been actively developed in the last decade, but the issue of independent assessment of future speech therapy teachers based on certification procedures has not yet been sufficiently developed. The article analyzes the approaches existing in pedagogical theory and practice to the study of the phenomenon of independent assessment, identifies its key parameters that must be taken into account when developing the certification procedure for future speech therapists. One of the significant factors in the organization of such a procedure, the researchers call the involvement of interested social partners at the design stages. Purpose of the article. The purpose of the article is to determine the priority criteria for independent certification of future speech therapy teachers based on the analysis of the results of a study of the social demand for the formation of communicative competencies among representatives of this profession. Methodology and methods of research. The methodological basis of the conducted research was the systematic and competence-based approaches, which allow to identify the characteristics of professional competencies of the communicative orientation of a speech therapist teacher. The study used methods of analysis, questioning and interpretation of experimental data. Results of the study. The authors of the article present the results of the analysis of the request of employers, parents and teachers of speech therapists for the formation of priority professional competencies of a communicative orientation for future graduates of speech therapy training profiles. Conclusion. In conclusion, conclusions are drawn about the differences in the priorities of the assessed criteria of professional competencies of a communicative orientation among the survey participants, which may be significant for the development of tools for independent assessment of the quality of training of future speech therapy teachers.
