The practice of citizenship education in a secondary school abroad

Abstract: 
Presented the purpose, objectives, content, relationship of the practices of citizenship education in a secondary school in Western Europe, USA and Japan. The assimilation and adaptation approaches, communication techniques, experience of free schools, Formal Instruction in Civics and Government, informal instructions of social and civic education in US schools are characterized. The activities of the European Union and the Council of Europe, the UK schools of Germany and France on social and civic education are considered. The anti-imperial civic education in Japan is analyzed.
