Summer camp: the story of elementary particles (mid XIX – first quarter XX centuries)

Abstract: 
Based on the analysis of materials of historical and pedagogical research and synthesis of data from different sources made historical reconstruction of the origin and development practices country children's camps in the middle of the XIX – first quarter of XX century. Auto-Rami of the article proposed and substantiated the assumption about the three trends (three cultural forms) suburban children's camps i n Russia and abroad: a summer camp as a military settlement, summer camp as a resort, summer camp as a commune.
