THE WORK OF THE SOCIALLY ACTIVE SCHOOLS AND STUDENT SELF-GOVERNMENT

Abstract: 
The article deals with the historical aspect of the development of the socially active schools. The main issues of pedagogical and student self-government are reflected. The origins of the pedagogical and student self-government systems at school are described. The experience of the key school administration issues discussing with the pedagogical and student community is presented. The bases of the teachers’ training of the soviet period abled to conduct educational tasks in accordance with the requirements are analyzed. The activity of pedagogical self-government is described. The processes of pedagogical and student self-government at the intra-system and intra-school levels are shown and the emergence of pedagogical professional associations of the teachers as well as the phenomenon of pedagogical culture are revealed. The special role of the class teacher in the ideas of self-government at school is considered.
