Organization of Recreation and Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities in the Conditions of a Children’s Recreation Camp

Abstract: 
Introduction. Inclusive education is based on an ideology that excludes any discrimination against children with disabilities and creates the same attitude towards all children without exception. An important place in the implementation of inclusive education is occupied by recreation and health facilities for children and adolescents, as the children’s health camp has unique opportunities for recreation, health, education and socialization of children with disabilities. The purpose of the article is to analyze the positive experience of the Orbita children’s health and sports center in organizing specialized shifts for children with disabilities. Research methodology and methods. The methodological basis of the research is a personality-oriented approach, which is based on the child’s identity, self-worth and subjectivity of the learning process. A significant contribution to the development of theoretical and methodological foundations of this approach was made by Sh. A. Amonashvili, E. V. Bondarevskaya, O. S. Gazman, V. V. Serikov, Yu. I. Turchaninova, I. S. Yakimanskaya, and others. Method of research. The study used theoretical methods: analysis, synthesis and empirical methods: observation, questioning. Research result. Conducting the profile shift “Lessons of kindness” allowed to include children with disabilities in active activities, develop their creative potential, expand the circle of communication of families raising such children, and promote the formation of a certain level of socio-cultural tolerance to children with disabilities. In conclusion, it is concluded that inclusive education is not only one of the types of modern education in any educational institution, but a much broader socio-cultural phenomenon that reflects the humanistic principles of domestic pedagogy.
