The article describes the stages of the modernization of the educational system for training engineering students in YUTI TPU: integrated system of training - Bachelor's degree - Bachelor of Applied. Integrated component of the system of training of students is an integral component of the training of students and is presented at each stage of modernization. Modernization is necessary for that would maintain a balance between the labor market in Russia and the education system, or between graduates and employers. As a result, graduates of YUTI TPU not only have a full understanding of the chosen field, but also master the professional competencies needed for the fastest acclimatization to the conditions of production, which is one of the main objectives of the successful training of qualified specialists.
