The problems of social adaptation of children with disabilities are key issues in providing them the special education system. Prerequisite for the development of socially adapted personality is its ability to establish productive relationships with others, which in turn depends on a complex personality of its preconditions and psychophysical characteristics. The article investigates the manifestations of aggressive mentally retarded adolescents in everyday life as one of the signs of intolerance, whose presence inhibits the development of social behavior skills. The study also touched on the possibility of using traditional methods to diagnose the level of aggressive behavior.
