The article deals with the issue of crisis in contemporary pedagogical science and related problems. It is noted that pedagogy is becoming the core of interaction with other sciences, integrating them through the ideas of education, upbringing of new generation, forming interpersonal relationship, followed from the humanistic values of pedagogical knowledge. The foundations, which form the basic values of social experience of new generation, are one of the essential issues of pedagogy. The antisocial response in pedagogy is also of great interest: the more notable the negative impact in the society is, the more socially oriented the education should become in its influence on positive changes. Contemporary pedagogy as a phenomenon of art might awake the sense of the sublime regardless the complexity of the subject matter. To “carve” ideas, to uplift those to ideal images – is a unique pedagogical gift, which allows to give a sense of importance to the act of “discovery” of the world.
