The paper deals with various aspects of professional education and employment of the youth in Russia and abroad. Forms and methods of continuous professional training, the basis for further employment of the youth are considered. Issues of steady increase of professional employment of the youth with the orientation for subsequent stable career grows, the formation of positive attitude of students to labour as a socially important component of the way of life are examined.The problem of professional education modernization of the youth due to subsequent employment in the innovative production is studied.
