SOCIAL AND CULTURAL DETERMINANTS OF FORMATION OF THE SYSTEM OF TEACHERS’ VALUES

Abstract: 
On the basis of the cross-cultural research conducted in four European countries, the general regularities of formation of the system of values of teachers in the course of their professional development are described. Influence of a profile of teaching, and also gender, ethnic and confessional origin on process of formation of system of values of teachers is analyzed.
