This article presents the results of the analysis of the effective use of information and communication technologies in educational process at the Department of Internal Medicine of Postgraduate Education of the Kursk State Medical University. Information and communication technologies contributes to the development of creative personality not only for the student, but for the teacher and help realize the main human needs - communication, education, self-realization. Possibilities and necessities of use of information-communication technologies, Web-technologies for an intensification and giving of additional dynamics to educational process are considered. In this connection new forms and methods of the organization of educational activity for development and perfection of this activity are de-fined.
