This article presents the author's interpretation of the conceptual model of artistic and aesthetic development of preschool children based on the realities of modern teaching preschool educational institution and holistic educational process. The main emphasis in the analysis presented conceptual model is made on the formation of artistic and aesthetic culture in the preschool period.
