ETHNO-CULTURAL COMPONENT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF BACHELORS OF FOREIGN-LANGUAGE PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION

Abstract: 
The article considers the ethno-cultural component of professional competence of bachelors of pedagogical education, who are the future foreign-language teachers. The article refers to the approaches to the concepts of competence and professional competence in the conditions of reforming the Russian system of higher education. Professional competence is defined as the systemic integrated concept which includes some capacities (which are following: linguistic, communicative (speech), socio-cultural, linguo-didactic, personal, linguo-cognitive); they relate to peculiarities of professional training of bachelors, who are the future foreign-language teachers. In each capacity there are components which characterize its ethno-cultural content. The considered propositions allow to come to the conclusion that professional training of bachelors which is aimed to forming professional competence and is carried out taking into account features of its ethno-cultural component, contributes to professional education of the person required by a society at present.
