Currently, the ever-changing socio-economic and political conditions require a creative approach to solving problems. In this regard, the formation of the creative personality acquires social significance. This article contains the results of studies on the interaction between creativity and intelligence. The primary aim of the given research is to identify the structure and content of the term «creativity». The author uses a number of theoretical and empirical methods. The methods of mathematical statistics are used to analyze the results of the experiment. The main conclusion of the study is that creativity is the ability which is relatively independent of intelligence. Therefore, due to highly developed creativity, teenagers may have a good chance to integration into society.
