PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LIFE-WORLD OF STUDENTS
Abstract:
The article shows prospects of studying life-worlds of students and the need to develop appropriate psychodiagnostic methods for their analysis. The description of the typology of the life-world, proposed by F. E. Vasiluk, which comes from the dichotomy of the inner world on complex and simple, and the outside world on difficult and easy; thus, to develop a vision of four living worlds: infantile, realistic, valuable and creative. In the authors' method of the study of the life-world of students considered two options – the real (actual) and the ideal (desired). On the basis of empirical research is given a psychological interpretation of detected differences of these variants. Correlation analysis of the obtained data with those of other known techniques (level of subjective control and the nature of value orientations) allows to make the conclusion about the validity of the proposed methodology.
