THE VALUE OF SCIENTIFIC REFLECTION OF ECONOMIC REALITY IN THE TEACHING OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISCIPLINES AT HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract: 
The article describes the main problems related to the teaching of economic disciplines at high school, which are characterized by the extensive use of the mainstream economics methodology. There is an analysisof the methodological bases of mainstream economics as organizingeconomic knowledge general discipline, united by common ideals and standards of economic research. There are revealed the restrictions on using the principle of methodological individualism in describing and explaining economic reality.The description of problems related with modeling the economic behavior of man using the methodological attitudes of mainstream economics is done.Finally there is made a set of conclusions related to the planning of broader interdisciplinary links of economic subjects with the disciplines of the socio-humanitarian cycle.It assumes the acquaintance of students with a variety of research methodology, and not just attitudes of positivist research program that had been established itself in the modern economic knowledge.
