Article is devoted to the analysis of «artistic-cultural environment». The author emphasizes need of interaction of the various humanities for studying of various aspects of the environment. Need of inclusion of the category «artistic-cultural environment» locates in article in a conceptual framework of modern pedagogics. Artistic-cultural environment is a variety of socio-cultural environment, which covers the field of art and culture and practical artistic and creative activities of man. The author emphasizes the relatedness of the concepts of «аrtistic-cultural environment», «socio-cultural environment», «art culture» «artosphere». The reasons of increase of its educational potential in modern conditions are considered. Artistic-cultural environment meets and forms the spiritual needs of the individual, and reproduces cultural heritage. The author draws a conclusion that a problem of influence is art – the cultural environment on the developing personality is insufficiently studied in pedagogics.
