School Readiness for the Prevention of Destructive Behavior in Adolescents

Abstract: 
Prevention of destructive behavior of adolescents carried out in schools is a complex process that requires consistency, involvement of specialists, parents of students (legal representatives), and the administration of the educational organization. A large place in the prevention of destructive behavior of adolescents at school is given to educational and psychological-pedagogical work. The purpose of the article is to analyze the readiness of the school to prevent destructive behavior of adolescents. Methodology. As a methodological base, a systemic approach, an environmental approach, and a methodology of pedagogical design in terms of the conditions for the development of self-awareness and self-control were used. Research results: analysis of the work. The effectiveness of preventive work will depend on the selected forms and methods of preventive diagnostics (within the framework of psychological-pedagogical and educational work). The system of preventive work in an educational organization requires the presence of mandatory blocks in its composition, which are implemented in stages: target; organizational; diagnostic, substantive. Conclusion. It is concluded that the readiness of the school to prevent destructive behavior of adolescents depends on many factors and is the result of a lot of joint work of all participants in educational relations. A great deal of attention is given to the role of the educational psychologist, who can identify the first signs of destruction in a student’s behavior at an early stage, as well as organize work aimed at correcting behavior.
