Features of Adaptation of Active Teaching Methods to Online Education in a Modern University and the System of Additional Professional Education

Abstract: 
The article analyzes educational activities using digital technologies and the use of distance learning, examines aspects of the practice of using imitative and non-imitative active teaching methods in the digital learning environment of higher and additional professional education using synchronous and asynchronous communication models. The purpose of the article is to identify the features of the adaptation of active methods to online education in higher education and additional professional education. The methodological basis of the study was a set of general scientific principles using theoretical methods, research aimed at identifying the problem of adapting active teaching methods in a digital educational environment. The results of the study. The article discusses the practical aspects and models of adaptation of active methods in online education and the digital educational environment using synchronous and asynchronous communication. The experience of including active learning methods in the structure of project tasks aimed at developing students’ skills and competencies. The practice of using pedagogical tools of the Moodle digital educational environment using active methods in group and individual work with asynchronous communication is considered. Conclusion. Conclusions are drawn on the problems of adapting active learning methods in a digital environment with individual and group approaches in synchronous and asynchronous communication, and ways to solve the identified problems are considered.
