CONTENTS OF SELF-TRAINING OF STUDENTS OF ENGINEERING SPECIALTIES IN THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY IN THE IDEOLOGY OF CDIO ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE SUBJECT "PHYSICS"

Abstract:
This article is devoted to questions of self-training of students of engineering specialties in the Technical University (on the example of Metallurgy direction students of the Institute of Nonferrous Metals and Materials of Siberian Federal University). It is noted that the self-training of students is also provided in the traditional teaching, but it’s content changes due to implementation of the CDIO ideology in the education process. In CDIO approach the self-training is performed not only during extracurricular studies, the share of self-training activities increases in the classroom hours through intensive use of active learning methods. The fragment of a chart of interactive technology implementation in classroom and extracurricular self-training on the theoretical material in physics is proposed. The results of real pedagogical practice are presented.
