The Effectiveness of the Regional Internship in the Process of Improving the health-saving Competence of Preschool Education Teachers

Abstract: 
The article examines the ways and means of improving the health-preserving competence of employees of preschool educational institutions based on the functioning of the regional internship site. Objective: to reveal the features of the work of the innovative internship site for the formation of professional competencies of preschool teachers. Methodology and research methods. The article examines methodological and technological approaches aimed at implementing system-activity and competence approaches to the problem of improving adaptive development potential in a preschool educational organization. Results of the study. They reveal various forms and areas of activity of the regional internship site, the effectiveness of interns in terms of readiness for health-preserving activities, parameters for improving the relevant professional competencies. It is shown that the experience of innovative activities of the internship site allows for a significant increase in the resources of interning teachers in the field of cognitive and practical development of didactic, information technology and psychological and pedagogical health-preserving competencies. It has been established that the experience of using manual and automated software and hardware for assessing the adaptive development potential of pupils in combination with the use of various forms of interaction between preschool education subjects makes it possible to update the process of continuous education and development of teaching staff and management personnel in the area of their socially adaptive competence and professionalism in general. The conclusion indicates the importance and significance of organizing and undergoing internships for teaching staff on the issue of improving health-preserving competence. The definition of “improving the health-preserving competence of teachers” is formulated.
