Micro-City as a Socialization Environment

Abstract: 
The article describes the micro-city as an environment of human socialization, its spatial, architectural, planning, demographic and socio-economic characteristics. Research methods. Monographic study of the micro-city, analysis of Internet resources, reports from informants, expert assessments. The novelty of the approach. The results of the study made it possible for the first time to characterize the micro-city as a socialization environment. Practical significance. The research materials are used in teaching a number of socio-psychological and socio-pedagogical courses at universities and colleges, and can be used in the process of developing ways to optimize socialization in micro-towns.
