Case Championship as a Means of Achieving the Educational and Developmental Effect of Project Activities as Part of the Implementation of Extracurricular Activities

Abstract: 
The article reflects the current trends in modern education and offers recommendations for the implementation of project activities in the educational process in the format of a case championship. It examines the features of the construction and content of cases, which are the basis of the competition, reveals their role in the development of analytical abilities, the formation of readiness to apply knowledge in practice, training in the search for non-standard solutions. Recommendations on selection of subject and case structure are given. Particular attention is paid to aspects of scientific interdisciplinarity and orientation to the priorities of scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the article is to study the impact of the case championship on the quality and depth of development of project activities as part of extracurricular work, identify ways to optimize the process and determine recommendations for organizing such events. It substantiates the importance of the case championship as a key element of the educational environment, contributing to the development of students’ ability to analyze situations, develop decision strategies and acquire professional skills in the process of teamwork on scientific projects. The methodology is based on the application of a set of methods, including theoretical analysis of existing concepts and models, pedagogical observation, conducting surveys and qualitative analysis of participant reports. The conclusion concludes that the case championship has a positive impact on the professional development of students, increasing their competence level. The implementation of case championships as part of extracurricular activities allows you to strengthen the educational effect, contributes to the development of key competencies among students and significantly enriches the arsenal of tools for educational and pedagogical work of educational organizations.
