Prospects for the Development of the Educational Space of the College in the Context of the Formation of Safe Behavior of Students

Abstract:
The relevance of the research is determined by the social significance of the problem of forming safe behavior, the importance of which is difficult to overestimate in situations of devaluation of the value foundations of modern youth, escalation of threats and the emergence of new types of dangers in society, everyday life, on the road and in transport. The program documents of the state youth policy and the implementation of the federal project “Professionalism” increase the prestige of secondary vocational education and, as a result, there is a steady demand for training programs for mid-level specialists, skilled workers and employees. The personal characteristics of the student body actualize the problem of forming safe behavior with the involvement of both group (educational and public organizations, leisure facilities) and individual actors (combat veterans, medical workers, teachers, parents, and security professionals) in this process. The integration of their efforts, common goals and values contributes to the development of the educational space of the college and, through networking, as well as increasing the radius, contributes to the creation of a unified educational space of the neighborhood. The purpose of the article is to summarize the results of a theoretical and experimental study on the formation of safe behavior of students in the educational space of the college. The research methodology is based on systematic and personal-activity approaches, the unity of which will allow the teacher to organize educational activities focusing on the personal needs, cognitive and socio-pedagogical characteristics of students to meet specific requests and needs, as well as their involvement in a variety of activities both in college and on partner sites. The research methods are the theoretical analysis of Russian and foreign literature, the systematization and interpretation of the results obtained, and the organization of a survey of college teaching staff. The results of the study. The article examines the characteristics of the college’s educational space, the core of which is the interaction of subjects of educational relations and social partners in combination with the use of various forms and means of educational activity, which makes it possible to intensify this process and expand the radius of the college’s educational space. The difficulties of teachers that hinder the formation of safe behavior in its conditions are revealed. The subspaces within the space itself are revealed meaningfully for the organization of safe life activities of students. The forms of joint activity that have shown the greatest effectiveness are proposed. In conclusion, it is concluded that the inclusion of students in the educational space of the college is characterized by a dual influence: the effectiveness of the formation of safe behavior of students increases, as well as the prestige of the college in the neighborhood and the number of social partners involved in the organization of educational activities increases. The organization of activities in the educational space of the college has a positive effect on the personal and professional position of the teacher as an educator.
