Methodological Guidelines for the Integration of Artificial Intelligence into the Educational Process

Abstract:
Introduction. The article examines the features of the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process, as well as the level of readiness of teachers and students to use them. The purpose of the article is to systematize methodological guidelines in the context of the active spread of AI and its application in the education system. The methodology of study includes conducting a bibliographic review, using methods of generalizing, descriptive and comparative analysis, on the basis of which, by systematizing the literature on the research topic, the barriers preventing the successful integration of AI into the educational process were studied. An empirical study was also conducted to study the willingness of teachers to integrate AI into the learning process and improve their level of professional competence in this area through a master class. Results. Based on the analysis of scientific publications and the results of an empirical study conducted on the basis of Tyumen State Medical University, the main trends, problems and barriers accompanying the integration of AI into the educational process have been identified. The survey results showed that students actively use AI technologies in educational activities, while teachers demonstrate an insufficient level of methodological and cognitive readiness. It has been established that the main obstacles to the effective use of AI are lack of time, lack of competencies and lack of regulatory and ethical regulations. The conducted practice-oriented master class confirmed that the participation of teachers in interactive forms of learning contributes to the development of digital literacy, anxiety reduction and the conscious use of AI tools in the educational environment. Conclusion. The necessity of generalizing methodological guidelines and institutional support for teachers for the successful integration of AI into the education system is emphasized.
