Study of the daily professional activity of the modern class leader

Abstract: 
The article describes the results and results of interdisciplinary research of everyday professional activity of a modern Russian teacher (class teacher). It is substantiated that the absence of such studies creates problems in understanding the phenomenon of resistance to the innovative development of modern domestic education. The representation in the minds of teachers of their professional activities in the organization of class activities is analyzed. The criterion for the separation of professional actions is their ability to stimulate relative activity (passivity) of students. The description of these actions of the class teacher and the structure of the research questionnaire, the procedure for its validation, are described. With the help of various psychological methods, the discrepancy between the expected and real results of a large-scale sociological and pedagogical study of class leaders from 20 regions of the country is substantiated. The question of the predominance of "directive" or "joint" type of teachers in modern mass practice is being investigated.
