The study of adolescents ' attitude to research work in the process geography education

Abstract: 
The article covers the problem of development of modern education in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the conditions of transition to 12-year education; shows the trend of the Republican state education policy towards the realization of the competence approach. The authors examine the formation of research competences of pupils as a key, the period of school geographical education. In this paper we define the concept “research competence”, “research activity” are analyzed a results of experimental work on attitudes of teenagers to research activities in the process of teaching geography in 8th and 9th grades of schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
