Presentation of modern youth about russia and america: comparative characteristics of research results 1992, 1995, 1998 and 2015

Abstract: 
The article provides a comparative analysis of the comparative study of the part of the cultural and linguistic picture of the world of modern students, which is reflecting the view about America and Americans, Russia and Russian. These free associative experiment conducted S. Ter-Minasova in 1992, 1995, 1998, сompared with the data obtained by the author as a result of the study 2015. We asked to write one to ten words associations connected with one of the concepts. On the basis of comparative analysis put forward suggestions about the changes in the views of Russian students about Russia and Russian, America and Americans. The most prominent results can be regarded as the disappearance of describing the financial condition of the reactions of words lexical-semantic groups: "poor", "rich", "dollar" and the appearance of the words included in the lexical-semantic groups of power: the "war", "arrogant", " proud, "arrogant", "desire to dominate others", "sly", "power", "racism".
