The features of cross-cultural studies of education in the context of changing sociocultural factors

Abstract: 
In this article, the author explore various approaches to the problem of the methodology of cross-cultural studies of education. The author focus on different interpretations of the influence of sociocultural factors on modern methodology of pedagogy. The article reveals the characteristics social culture, which are reflected in pedagogical reseaches. The article analyses the influence of sociocultural factors: the crises and contradictions of social relations, philosophy and worldview of neopositivism, cultural diversity and modern communication. The purpose of this article is to analyze traditional and innovative methodological approaches to the study of education in Russia. The impact of globalization and neopositivism is analyzed. Also examines the current social contradictions and crises. The author pays attention to changing the terminology of pedagogical research, the role of interpretation in the understanding of education, the change of methodological approaches in cross-cultural studies of education.
