MONITORING OF RESEARCH COMPETENCE FORMATION OF STUDENTS MAJORING IN LINGUISTICS

Abstract: 
The article deals with the problems of research competence monitoring in the context of educational system modernization. The purpose of scientific research is to present the main aspects of monitoring of the student's research competence. The professional competence of a specialist can be represented as a multilevel structure. Monitoring is sometimes considered as an independent function of managing the educational process in pedagogical science. Monitoring anticipates existing of certain shortcomings and ways of elimination them. As the title implies the article describes the technology of research competence’s monitoring. This competence includes eight main skills on base level. Results of research are received by using methods of questioning, analysis and pedagogical experiment. The article gives valuable information on the structure of research competence. Statistic data about the research competence’s development are exposed in the article.
