PRESENTATIONS OF TEACHERS AND PARENTS ABOUT THE PUPIL
Abstract:
The paper presents the results of an empirical study of the concepts of the pupil, the purpose of which is a comparative analysis of the image of the pupil in the views of teachers and parents. The method of semantic differential was used for the study. Both positive and negative characteristics were included in the content-semantic structure of the ideas about the pupil, obtained with the help of factor analysis. Whereas semantic universals are represented only by ositive characteristics. There is a desire of adults not to reveal the individuality of the child, but to develop his performance, directed activity in approved and imposed by adults directions. Differences in the views of parents and teachers are revealed. Teachers, unlike parents, perceive pupil less honest, active and independent.
