Achieving a high level of civil self-awareness is provided by a number of conditions ensuring the intensification of the formation of civic self-consciousness of cadets. Creation of pedagogical conditions is considered as establishing of favorable factors and making favorable conditions in the educational process, which contribute to increasing the level of formation of civil self-consciousness. Analysis of researches of the problem under discussion allows to identify and justify a set of conditions that ensure the formation of cadets’ civil identity. These conditions are motivation of cadets to form a civil identity; organization of cooperation in the framework “teacher – cadet – commander” and formation of professional identity.
