Diagnostics of social and pedagogical environment collective of employees of the corrective institution

Abstract: 
Problem and Aim. The effectiveness of the process of professional development of employees of the penitentiary system in terms of humanization of the process of execution of sentences and the increasing intensity of professional activity is largely ensured by their socio-pedagogical support. The purpose of the article is to determine the structural elements of the socio – pedagogical environment of correctional staff as a system of conditions for the organization of socio-pedagogical support of young employees. To justify the choice of diagnostic tools used to assess the socio-pedagogical environment. Methodology. Theoretical analysis of the phenomenon of “socio-pedagogical environment” allowed to determine its main elements that relate to indicators of socio-psychological climate and organizational culture of the team. As a diagnostic tool, the author used the “Test of organizational culture of institutions of the UIS” and developed a questionnaire to identify some of the characteristics of the respondents and their relationships in the team. In conclusion, it is concluded that the socio-pedagogical diagnostics allows to evaluate the resource of the collective, which should be used in the organization of the process of socio-pedagogical support of young employees of the correctional institution. The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that on the basis of diagnostics the development of programs of socio-pedagogical support of young employees is carried out, and the process of socio-pedagogical support is an important factor in their professional development.
