Comparative characteristics of the process of school children’ economic socialization (on the material of Russia, Germany and China)

Abstract:
In the article the authors presented their scientific understanding of the experience of school children’ economic socialization in Russia, Germany and China in a comparative aspect. The choice of three countries for comparing characteristics of the process of school children’ economic socialization was not chosen by chance and is due to two reasons. First, there is an intensification of cooperation between these countries. Secondly, Russia, Germany and China are three types of culture with distinctive features: specifically Western, and Eastern culture, and in Russia, the specific features of the culture are determined by its geopolitical position: the middle position between West and East. The authors show that the process of economic socialization of school children in each country is based on their culture, economic experience and social order. The article gives comparative characteristics of the process of school children’ economic socialization in the countries studied. In conclusion, having analyzed the works of contemporary researchers and direct field research, the authors came to conclusion that the concept of “economic socialization” in each country is interpreted in its own way and has its own characteristics. Nevertheless, the material presented about the characteristics of the process of economic socialization among schoolchildren (on the material of Russia, Germany and China) demonstrates the importance of understanding the experience of such a type of economic socialization and its analyze.
