Assessment Of The Level Of Development Of Communicative Competence Of Future Teachers In The Educational Space Of The University

Abstract: 
Problem and goal. In the article the author considers communicative competence as one of the leading components of the competence approach in modern education. The purpose of the article is to present a practical study to identify the initial level of development of communicative competence of future teachers in the educational space of the University. Methodology. Data collection was carried out using a modified diagnostic technique (K. Thomas, A. Leontiev, M. Snyder, V. F. Ryakhovsky, V. A. Urazaeva). The total sample of the study was 204 respondents. The results were qualitatively and quantitatively interpreted. In conclusion, the author concludes that the communicative competence in the sphere of professional communication should be interpreted in the context of the competence approach, and also suggests that the level of development of the communicative competence of future teachers will be influenced by the pedagogical conditions created in the educational space of the University using the methods of active learning.
