Assistance in the Educational and Professional Restart of the Elderly People in The Educational Process of the University

Abstract: 
The article considers the problem of the educational and professional restart of the elderly people. The authors present a system of pedagogical assistance to the educational and professional restart of an elderly person as the means of solving the problem. The testing of this system was carried out by the authors on the basis of the South Ural State University (NRU). Purpose: to justify the design, implementation of the model of pedagogical assistance to the educational and professional restart of the elderly students, based on the prerequisites for updating the phenomenon of older people education. Methodology. The methodological basis of the proposed model of assistance is the integrity of the system and androgogic approaches. The model is considered by the authors as a system of pedagogical measures that dynamically changes its functions during development. The results of the study are presented as a description of the morphostructure of the model, the functions of the model elements and the stages of its development. The model is also considered as an element of the metasystem consisting of formal, informal and everyday adult education. Statistical data were obtained in the educational process during the implementation of the model on the master's programs. Conclusion. The article concludes that the model of pedagogical assistance for the educational and professional restart of an elderly student is implemented through the integration of formal, informal and everyday education through a combination of measures affecting the development of a student’s personal resource.
