Readiness to Perform Service and Combat Tasks in Extreme Situations: Motivational Aspect

Abstract: 
Introduction. The article reveals the value of motivation and the results of its generation in the process of experimental work on the implementation of the model of formation of readiness of future officers of the national guard to perform service and combat tasks in extreme situations. The purpose of the article is to consider the change in the motivational component of future officers of the national guard troops as a result of the introduction of the special course "Readiness to perform service and combat tasks in extreme situations" into educational activities and to justify the feasibility of using the structural and functional model in the formation of the readiness of future officers of the national guard troops of the Russian Federation to perform service and combat tasks in extreme situations. Research methodology and methods. The research was based on the study, comparison and generalization of scientific literature. Testing of respondents for the purpose of diagnosing the formation of motivational and value components of readiness to perform service and combat tasks in extreme situations was carried out using the method of personality diagnostics for the motivation to success of T. Ehlers. Research result. The results of the experimental work show that the activation and purposeful professional training of cadets during elective classes on the special course "Readiness to perform service and combat tasks in extreme situations" in combination with activities of individual educational, educational and cultural and leisure work allowed to significantly change the level of motivation, significantly increased the understanding of students of the need to be professionally ready to perform their duties in a complicated situation, which indicated an increase in not only interest, but the needs and motivations of future national guard officers for their personal training to perform service and combat tasks in extreme situations. In conclusion, it is concluded that the stable military professional motivation of cadets is one of the foundations of high-quality training of an officer, achievement of military professional competence in the conditions of formation of a new image of the national guard of the Russian Federation.
