In the article the author reveals strategic directions of the development of teachers training education which contribute to the employment of graduates such as reconsidering the approaches to teaching to raise the activity and interactivity of educational process; intensifying practical orientation of educational process; the development of professional competence of instructors; updating the system of monitoring the development of professional competencies of students; updating the system of career counseling; raising the motivation of applicants to enter the teachers training departments; forming the motivation of graduates to work as teachers in comprehensive educational institutions.
