PRESCHOOL ART EDUCATION OF CIS COUNTRIES AND UKRAINE: COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS

Abstract: 
The article contains a comparative analysis that reveals the peculiarities of pre-school art education in Ukraine and CIS countries. Purpose of the article is to determine and characterize the general trends and features of pre-school art education in these countries with common political and socio -economic past. Discovered general features of pre-school art education in Ukraine and CIS countries are: focus on the education of spiritual and cultural identity with a high level of aesthetic perception and the ability to express themselves in different kinds of art, understanding the importance of the objectives and content of the pre-school art education, which are displayed in educational standards and are implemented in educational programs on the basement of traditional CIS kindergartens. Among the current trends – the development of networks of new type children’s art institutions that involve kids of different segments of the population to art activity, they have more flexible organization structure, content and methods of art education, especially of gifted and young children. Their number, names, and types of institutions, as well as their experience in Ukraine and other CIS countries are different. Finally, conclusions are drawn about perspective directions of development of pre-school art education applicable to the conditions of CIS countries.
