THE STRUCTURE OF THE EDUCATION CONTENT BASED ON LEARNING OUTCOMES CONCEPT
Abstract:
The article represents the relevance to launch the new approach for content design of the academic activity in terms of the Federal State Educational Standard of the Higher Professional Education. The application of the compliance matrix of competence and discipline is considered to be the irrelevant method of achievement of the competence specified by the standard. It is alternatively recommended to elaborate educational programs by using the principles of competency building approach and learning outcomes concept instead of traditional disciplinary structure of education process. It is also suggested to apply Bloom's «Taxonomy of Educational Objectives» as a methodological basis to define the learning outcomes. The main point of the mentioned above principles is highlighted: competence distribution into clusters by the types of professional activities, learning outcomes writing, definition of stages on learning outcomes assimilation, structural units formation organized by stages due to type logics of professional activities. To write the diagnostic learning outcomes at each stage accurately, it is necessary to use the action verbs of Bloom's Taxonomy
