Current explanation of the research of origins of competence-oriented approach to organization of the educational process was formulated under the condition of existence of contradiction between classical and postindustrial educational approaches. The preparatory stage of content analysis procedure including the possibility of applying the sociological pool in the context of competence approach is represented in the given paper. The initial selection of respondents for the pool procedure was accomplished taking into account the expert weight of all of them. The algorithm of experts in the field history of pedagogy and education social pool is developed. For the sake of in-crease of pool results' reliability the concordation procedure was used.
