EKATERINA IVANOVNA SOLOVYOVA - THE FOUNDER OF SCIENTIFIC HISTORICAL SCHOOL IN NSPI –NSPU

Abstract: 
The article discusses the formation of the Scientific Historical school, founded by doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Ekaterina Ivanovna Solovyova at the Department of Russian History of NSPI-NSPU. The peculiar characteristics of this school are revealed. The personality of Catherine Ivanovna Solovyova presented on the basis of memories of her colleagues, historians, postgraduates and graduate students. Special attention is given to the description of organization of research activity and formation of creative atmosphere. The author analyzes the main directions of development of the scientific school, the successor of which is currently the pedagogical school of IIGS NSPU.
