Video Media Enhansing Professional Language Learning in Tertiary Education

Abstract: 
The issue of using video materials on professional topics for students of non-linguistic universities in English for professional growth and modernization of foreign language education of the faculty of finance and economics is being updated. The purpose of the article is to analyze the main questions of working with video materials for intensification of English Language Teaching. The article presents a review of domestic and foreign literature on the problems of enhancing the process of teaching foreign languages and English in particular, using Internet and video. Discussions with students and their feedback and generalizations of pedagogical experience are described. As a result, methodological recommendations on the topic of using video materials are considered and analyzed, recommendations on successful work in the classroom and independent work at home are presented. The difficulties that students and teachers face when working with video materials are outlined. Priorities, which are defined as key ones for the use of video materials in the classroom are defined.
