THE SOCIO-PEDAGOGIC ROLE OF THE INNOVATIVE KARAKOVSKY SCHOOL OF THOUGHT: ITS HUMANISTIC MEANINGS AND THE RUSSIAN TRADITIONS OF EDUCATION

Abstract: 
The author analyzes the leading innovative ideas of practical school of humanism introduced by the great Russian pedagogue V. A. Karakovsky. The content and meaning of innovation school of Karakovsky reviewed in the context of opposition to the two guiding philosophies and trends of the present-day world – modern humanism and postmodernism. The place of Karakovsky in the media of the Russian philosophy of education is emphasized. The value, role and place of the creative heritage of Karakovsky for the meaningful innovation updates of the leading traditions of Russian education is proved.
