The analysis of the phonetic problems that arise in the development of the russian and english languges

Abstract: 
This article analyzes difficult to pronounce sounds of the Russian and English languages separately, that is, within each language, and in a comparative aspect. Common challenges for the two languages are highlighted and the reason of their occurrence is analyzed, the differences in the method of pronunciation and sounding of similar sounds and sound combinations are evaluated, the ranking of problem sound combinations in the frequency of occurrence is made up. The frequency of deposition, doubling and replacement of some of the sounds of Russian and English speech by others is revealed. Also the frequency of references to speech therapists and their effectiveness is assessed. The study was conducted using the method of survey and the analysis of earlier works on similar topics.
