Models Of Interaction Of Secular And Religious In Education: World Experience

Abstract:
The problem of the relationship between the secular and state components in education is being discussed, actualized by the global socio-cultural crisis, the volatility of value orientations, and the search for vectors of the person’s ideological self-determination under conditions of postmodern type of development. The research methodology is based on the leading principle of comparative studies, according to which comparison is considered as “logical reflection”, by means of which the content of knowledge is evaluated, ordered and classified on the basis of a fixed installation. Based on the study of foreign experience of secular and religious education, the author identifies the most typical interaction models that are present in world practice. The study of the fundamental international documents regulating relations in this area made it possible to establish that they do not contain specific recommendations on a single generally accepted model of relations between secular and religious components in education, but stressed the need to take into account the particularities and specifics of a particular country. The results of the study of international experience are aimed at improving the building relationships between the components of education in modern Russian society.
