OUT-OF-SCHOOL AND EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES WITH CHILDREN: THE TRANSFORMATION FROM UPBRINGING MODEL TO THE EDUCATIONAL- UPBRINGING MODEL
Abstract:
The article discusses the changes in the content of оut-of-school and extracurricular activities with children in the early 90-ies of XX century; substantiates the transformation from upbringing model to the educational- upbringing model. For a modern model of extracurricular work with children a higher level of professional and pedagogical competence of teachers working in the field of further education is required as well as the use of modern technologies, methods, forms and the resources; the goals of further education are still focused on the satisfaction of cognitive, communicative and creative the needs of children and adolescents.
